Pastor Latif Jacob was born in 1980 in Karachi, Pakistan, and was raised in a Christian family. His father, Pastor Jacob John, dedicated his life to full-time pastoral ministry, and from a young age, Latif witnessed his father’s commitment to serving God and the church. Inspired by his father’s faith and example, Latif accepted Jesus Christ as his personal Savior and felt called to continue the spiritual legacy of his family.

In 2003, he was baptized and began his formal theological training. Alongside his B.Com. education, he completed a Diploma and Licentiate in Theology, B.Th., and M.Th. He also completed an International Missionary Course in Korea, further preparing him for Christian ministry and missionary service.

From 2003 to 2011, Pastor Latif served in churches in Pakistan. During these years, God developed in him a particular gift for writing Christian poetry, songs, and spiritual poems. He is also a passionate worshipper and musician, playing the tabla and harmonium and using his musical gifts in worship and church ministry. Through preaching, worship, music, and pastoral service, he has sought to respond faithfully to God’s calling on his life.

In 2011, due to changing circumstances, Pastor Latif moved to Italy. Since then, he has continued his pastoral ministry among the Pakistani Christian community in Italy and within the wider Christian community in Europe and beyond.

His ministry is centered on being available to people in different situations and circumstances, offering spiritual guidance, prayer, emotional support, encouragement, and practical pastoral care. He has a particular heart for people who are facing difficulties, loneliness, family challenges, or the uncertainties that can come with moving to a new country.

Having lived in Italy for many years, Pastor Latif also helps newly arrived brothers and sisters understand and adapt to the Italian culture, society, and environment. He encourages them to build a positive life in Italy while remaining strong in their Christian faith and values.

Pastor Latif’s desire is to serve God by caring for His people, strengthening families, encouraging individuals, and helping Christians grow in faith, fellowship, worship, and service. His ministry reflects his deep love for God and his commitment to continuing the calling and legacy that began in his family.
